1. The service

SD6 Tools provides free calculators, converters, generators and informational articles, without an account. We may change, suspend or remove any tool or content at any time without notice.

2. Information only, not advice

Tool results are estimates based on the data you enter and on simplified assumptions. They are not financial, tax, legal, mortgage, investment or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before making any decision. See also our financial disclaimer.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
• disrupt the site, attempt unauthorized access or bypass its security measures;
• scrape or copy content in an automated way in order to republish it;
• present the site or its content as your own.

4. Intellectual property

The content, code, design and the SD6 Tools name belong to Gestion SD6 inc. or are used under licence. Open-source components are listed on the Licences page. You may freely use the results you generate (passwords, QR codes, identifiers, calculations).

5. External and affiliate links

The site may contain links to third-party sites, including clearly identified affiliate links. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. See our affiliate disclosure.

6. No warranty

The site and tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, Gestion SD6 inc. makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose of any result, or as to uninterrupted availability of the site.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gestion SD6 inc., its directors and suppliers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including financial loss, lost profits or lost data) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, or from any decision made in reliance on its results or content. This limitation does not apply to the extent prohibited by law, including for bodily or moral injury, or for material injury caused by intentional or gross fault.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable mandatory law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute falls under the competent courts of the judicial district in Quebec where Gestion SD6 inc. has its head office, subject to a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in their own district.
